Publishing CatchMe Jump
Hello everybody,
today I am happily publishing CatchMe Jump on Itch.io!
The core idea of the game is, to catch other players or to flee from the catcher. With the project I pursued the goal of developing a social game you can enjoy with friends in front of the same screen.
As I do not own enough real gamepads to play the game with multiple friends, I also developed a remote gamepad for the smartphone. I'm planning to release the remote gamepad controller (aka Controllerly) for the smartphone soon as well.
Nonetheless, I am super excited to publish my very first Itch.io game. Even though I developed games before, CatchMe Jump is one with a huge development time frame. However, since I am not into graphics, I took the ones from kenney.nl and some public domain music.
With CatchMe Jump I want to present a local multiplayer game you can enjoy with friends. I want to highlight the social aspect and the power of games to bring people together!
